Description

January 2010, Rosarno, Calabria.

The immigrants’ anger manifestations shows the deteriorating conditions and injustice in which thousands of African laborers live every day. For a moment, Italy is aware of them, they are afraid, they reacts violently, and in a few hours Rosarno is “cleared” and the problem “solved.”

But the faces and stories of the protagonists of The Green Blood tell us it is not so.
A story told in the first person of African migrants, who before arriving in Rosarno lived the journey through the Desert of Tenerè – told by the documentary South of Lampedusa, extra content for this dvd edition – from Niger to Libya.
